Ruben Neves could be set to join Liverpool in the summer, with Wolverhampton Wanderers then replacing the Portuguese midfielder with Anderson Talisca.

Wolves are claimed to have recently been in touch with Talisca's agent to remind him of their interest in signing his client.

Talisca is currently on loan at Turkish giants Besiktas and has also been linked with Manchester United and Liverpool.

But he may be on his way to Wolves as, according to Lisbon-based UOL journalist Marcus Alves, Neves is Liverpool bound and Talisca is set to be his replacement at the Championship leaders.

While the deal is not fully done yet, it is being worked on, with super agent Jorge Mendes handling both Neves and Talisca.

With Wolves having won promotion to the Premier League they are now in the thick of planning for next season's campaign.

They look poised to have to do so without Neves though, with the midfielder seemingly having caught the eye of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

And a move to the Champions League semi-finalists may be too good for Neves to refuse, despite his happiness at Wolves.

Neves has made 39 appearances in the Championship for Wolves so far this season, chipping in with six goals. He has however picked up eleven yellow cards.
