Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius believes he can improve every aspect of his game and is sure time is on his side.

Karius has managed to dislodge Simon Mignolet as Liverpool's number 1 this season despite many fans feeling the Belgian had done nothing to warrant being dropped to the bench.

But Karius has been part of a much-improved and less leaky Liverpool backline over recent months, meaning Mignolet has had no chance to get back in.

There are still question marks over the German though and Liverpool continue to be linked with moves for other goalkeepers.

For Karius, playing week in week out has helped him to kick on, but the shot-stopper acknowledges he still has much to improve across all parts of his game.

"I hope there’s more to come, I’m pretty sure there’s more to come because I’m 24 years old, so for a goalkeeper it’s still quite young", he told Liverpool's official site.

"I think I can improve in every part of my game, I have so much time ahead and I think there’s space for improvement in every single direction.

"I’m working every day to get better, the games help a lot because you can’t compare training to games.

"I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of space for improvement still", Karius added.

Liverpool forked out just £4.7m to take Karius to Anfield from German side Mainz in 2016 and he signed a contract running until 2021.
