Emre Can has still not let Juventus know whether he is ready to join them this summer and the Italian champions are now intensifying their efforts in the direction of replacement targets.

The Germany international is expected to leave Liverpool in the summer when his contract with the Anfield club expires.

Juventus have long been considered to be Can's most likely destination, but despite months of work on a deal, the Italian champions still do not have a firm agreement from the midfielder.

The Bianconeri gave Can an ultimatium ten days ago but, according to Turin-based daily Tuttosport, the Liverpool star has still not provided an answer.

As such, Juventus are picking up on work on two alternative targets in the shape of Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey and Paris Saint-Germain's Adrien Rabiot.

Can could still tell Juventus that he is willing to accept their offer, but the German is running the risk of providing an answer too late and hearing the Italian giants tell him they have now made alternative arrangements.

The midfielder is currently out of action with a back injury and could have played his last game for Liverpool.
