Chelsea legend Tommy Langley thinks that Tottenham Hotspur could yet bottle it in the race to finish in the Premier League's top four, meaning the Blues must be there to take advantage.

Antonio Conte's men cut the gap to fourth placed Tottenham to just five points by beating Burnley 2-1 on Thursday night, with both teams having another four league games to play this season.

Chelsea know they will be up against it to overhaul Spurs in the top four and Langley accepts the odds are stacked against the Stamford Bridge outfit.

But he insists Spurs do not have the mentality of winners and could still fall flat towards the end of the campaign.

Langley said on Chelsea TV: "They are not perennial winners and they don't actually know how to get over the line.
