Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has welcomed the idea of using two strikers in the future after successfully fielding two at Turf Moor against Burnley on Thursday night.

Both Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud were on the pitch against Sean Dyche's side as the Pensioners managed to win the match 2-1 in the end.

The Italian manager insists that he was happy with the way the duo worked together, linking up together and working hard for the team.

On the prospect of using both together again, the manager said that it is indeed a good option and if the necessity rises he would not be afraid to do that again.

"This is a really good option. In the past it was very difficult for me to try this option with the two strikers but they showed a great link and a great combination and at the same time they worked very hard for the team", Conte told the BBC.

On their goal of reaching the FA Cup final, which will give them their only chance to win silverware for the season, the manager said that they will obviously try to do so, and in spite of the difficult nature of the job, the spirit they have built up will help them go the distance.

"For sure we will try to reach the FA Cup final. It won't be easy but we must be ready to fight.

"I saw a fantastic spirit tonight. We must continue this way."
