Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers believes that Hibernian manager Neil Lennon will do everything in his power delay the title winning party for the Hoops at the weekend, with it being a matter of professional pride for the former Hoops' manager.

The team from Glasgow are close to winning the title for the seventh time in a row and could achieve that goal if they manage to beat Hibs.

However, having already held the Bhoys twice this season, the Easter Road-based team will look to stage a repeat when they host the defending champions on Saturday.

Rodgers, who knows countryman Lennon well, is aware that the 46-year-old will do everything in his power to make sure that the title winning party is delayed for the league leaders.

"Knowing Neil like I do he'll be doing everything he possibly can to do that", Rodgers said at a press conference.

"He's got his professional pride as well, he wants his team to continue with their challenge.

"So it's probably the most difficult game we could have to go and play."

Celtic currently hold a 13-point lead at the top of the table with five matches still remaining to be played this season.
