Jak Alnwick has warned Celtic that Rangers will be heading to Parkhead next weekend looking for all three points to spoil the Bhoys Scottish Premiership title party.

Rangers were taken apart by Celtic last weekend as the Bhoys claimed a 4-0 win in the Scottish Cup semi-final tie between the two teams at Hampden.

The Gers bounced back by beating Hearts 2-1 on Sunday and Alnwick was between the sticks due to injury to Rangers number 1 Wes Foderingham.

Alnwick could again be in goal for the trip to Parkhead if Foderingham does not shrug off a shoulder issue.

The occasion will not faze Alnwick though and he insists Rangers will be heading to Celtic looking for nothing less than three points, something which would cut the gap between the two teams to seven points.

"It is a massive game for us next weekend and it doesn’t matter whether it is a cup semi-final or a league game, it is Rangers v Celtic", Alnwick told Rangers TV.

"We are going to go there and we are going to try and win the game.

"It is going to be tough but if we apply what we did today [against Hearts] then we should be alright."

The last league meeting between the two teams at Parkhead ended in a 0-0 draw.

For boss Graeme Murty, beating Celtic at Parkhead may be his last opportunity to press his case to continue in his job for next season.
