Former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has ignored Arsene Wenger when lauding the managers he has worked under.

Wenger signed the Togo striker from Monaco in the summer of 2006 and during his three-year stint at the Emirates, he scored 62 goals in 142 appearances for the Gunners.

Currently in Turkey with Istanbul Basaksehir, Adebayor left Arsenal for Manchester City in 2009 and he even had spells at Tottenham and Real Madrid, and revealed his admiration for Jose Mourinho, under whom he played at the Bernabeu for half a season.

The Togo striker also talked about the importance of Tim Sherwood during his stint at Tottenham and believes current Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will move on to bigger things.

But he failed to mention Wenger, who took Adebayor to English football from Monaco in the first place.
