Juventus are prepared to table a bid for Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian as they look to close a deal for his signature in the summer.

Darmian has been on Juventus’ radar for over a year and after checking out other options, the Italian champions are now preparing to make a decisive move for the full-back.

The Italian has been on the fringes of the Manchester United squad this season and is almost certainly expected to be on the cull list as Jose Mourinho looks to reshape his team.

Darmian’s representatives have been in talks with Juventus and the former Torino man has given his nod to a potential move back to Turin in the summer.

And according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian champions are ready to fire off a bid worth €13m for the defender and are confident of getting a deal over the line.
