Liverpool goalkeeping target Alisson has cast doubt on his future at Roma, but insisted he will continue to focus on playing well for the Serie A giants.

The Brazilian goalkeeper’s future at Roma has been subject to speculation because of interest of some of the biggest clubs in Europe in the 25-year-old.

Liverpool have been linked with having an interest in him and Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be considering signing him in the summer transfer window.

Alisson remained coy when asked about his future and conceded that it is flattering to hear that some of the top European names are interested in signing him.

The goalkeeper insisted that despite all the speculation his performances will not be affected as he is aware that he needs to focus on Roma and pointed towards the end of his time at his former club Internacional.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen”, the goalkeeper told Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport when asked about his future.

“I guess the interest pleases me.

"I say it’s not a matter of what I want, I know my value and what I bring to the team, but what’s going to happen next season, we can leave that for later.”

He added: “I’m here and to do well I need to focus on Roma. Even when I was at Internacional, I had negotiations with Roma, but I was doing well.

“I played with six months there with the contract signed with the Giallorossi, but I won the same.”
