Queens Park Rangers striker Matt Smith insists that he is eagerly looking forward to the opportunity to go back to Elland Road to play the Whites.

The Hoops are set for a trip to Yorkshire for their final game of the season, with the 28-year-old getting the opportunity to return to the ground where he played his football during the 2013/14 season.




"I’m really looking forward to going back to Elland Road, I have a lot of fond memories there”, Smith told his club's official website.

According to the former Fulham player, Elland Road ranks as one of his favourite places to play football and a place he is never tired of visiting.
 


Assessing the strengths and weakness of Leeds, Smith insisted that they have strong side which have lost their way a bit since they came to realise that they won't make it to the playoffs.

But that does not mean that Smith and QPR will underestimate the threat posed by the Whites.

“It doesn’t quite feel like it was five years ago since I was there, but it’s one of my favourite places to go and play football", the QPR striker admitted.

“Leeds are a good team, I think they have fallen away a bit since they realised that the playoffs weren’t going to happen but we know their quality."
