Liverpool have missed out on teenager Jeremy Doku, with the 15-year-old putting pen to paper on a professional contract with Belgian giants Anderlecht.
The young winger was firmly on Liverpool's radar as the Reds look to bring the best talents from Europe to their academy.
But Doku will launch his professional career at Anderlecht after signing a contract with the club.
Keeping hold of the highly rated youngster is a big boost for Anderlecht and they will hope to reap the rewards by seeing Doku continue his development in familiar surroundings.
Doku has been capped by Belgium at Under-15 and Under-16 level, while he is currently in the Under-17 ranks, despite his tender years.
