Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini remains one of Roma’s primary transfer objective for the summer transfer window.

The Belgian is out of contract at the end of the season and was largely expected to be on his way out of Old Trafford until recently when talks over a new deal were rekindled.

Jose Mourinho has been keen to hold on to the player and despite Fellaini earning the anger of a large section of Manchester United fans with his recent comments, the club hope to keep hold of him.

Roma have been one of the Italian clubs who have been keeping tabs on the player for several months as they are plotting to invest heavily in their midfielder in the summer.

And despite recent developments at Manchester United, according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Fellaini remains one of the primary transfer objectives for the Giallorossi.
