Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is not a priority target for AC Milan and the club are yet to make any approach for the player.

Fellaini will be out of contract in the summer and Manchester United have made a last ditch attempt to keep hold of him by rekindling talks over a new deal with his representatives.

However, a deal is yet to be struck and there is still a distinct possibility that the Belgian will leave Manchester United on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The midfielder has been courting interest from China, while Besiktas and Galatasaray have also made lucrative proposals to take him to Turkey in the summer.

He has also been on the radar of several Italian clubs and he is reportedly one of the primary targets of Roma sporting director Monchi for next season.

Fellaini is also on AC Milan’s wish list, but according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the midfielder is not a priority target for the Rossoneri, who are also considering other options.

Therefore the Serie A giants are yet to make any contact with his representatives for initial talks over taking him to the San Siro in the summer.

AC Milan are weighing up a number of options, including the financial feasibility of signing the Belgian.
