Bournemouth have identified Celtic’s Kieran Tierney as one of their priority summer transfer targets, according to Sky Sports Scotland.

There has been talk over Tierney’s future ahead of the end of the season, but Celtic have been adamant about holding on to the Scotland international beyond the summer.




Tierney has been attracting interest from south of the border since breaking into the Celtic first team when he was 17 and more and more clubs have been joining his appreciation club.

Bournemouth were said to have been preparing a bid for the player but it seems the club are seriously wanting to take Tierney to Dean Court in the upcoming window.
 


It has been claimed Tierney has been identified by Eddie Howe as his top target for the left-back positon and the club are prepared to push the boat out to land the Celtic man.

Manchester United have also been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old but Jose Mourinho is believed to have identified Juventus left-back Alex Sandro as his priority target.

And the Premier League giants are reportedly willing to see Tierney join another Premier League club in favour of pursuing the Brazilian.

If the defender becomes available in the summer more clubs are expected to join the race but for the moment he has shot up to the top of Bournemouth’s list of transfer targets.
