Chelsea defensive target Kalidou Koulibaly has emerged as a potential target for Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window.

Koulibaly has emerged as one of the top centre-backs in Italian football due to his performances for Napoli and his future is expected to be subject to much speculation over the next few months.

Chelsea wanted to sign him in 2016 but Napoli managed to convince him to sign a new deal and it seems the Premier League giants are back for him this summer.

However, the Senegalese defender is expected to have more suitors this time around and according to Tuttosport, Juventus could be one of them.

The Italian giants are planning to overhaul their defence in the summer window, with a number of players expected to leave and the club are looking to bring in a top centre-back.

Koulibaly is one of the defenders the Bianconeri are planning to approach in the coming months but any move for him is expected to be met with tough resistance from Napoli.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is unlikely to entertain an offer from his chief league rivals Juventus and would rather sell him to a club outside Italy.

A decision to sell Koulibaly to Juventus is also expected to be an unpopular decision amongst the fans, who want Napoli to continue to challenge the Italian champions for the Serie A title next season.
