Arsenal are prepared to pay the release clause of Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski to snare him away from Napoli in the summer, it has been claimed.

After a fine season in Serie A, the Naples based club are expected to be under pressure to hold on to their top stars in the upcoming summer transfer window.

A number of their players have emerged on the radar of top clubs in Europe and it seems high release clauses are also not deterring suitors from pursuing Napoli's stars.

It has been claimed that Arsenal are poised to make a move for Napoli’s Zielinski and look to take him to England as part of their rebuilding process in the summer.

According to Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno, the north London club are even ready to fork out the €65m needed to trigger the release clause in his contract with Napoli.
