Wolves are prepared to rekindle their interest in AC Milan striker Andre Silva, who is also a target for Monaco this summer.

AC Milan paid big money to sign the striker from FC Porto last summer, but the Portuguese has been underwhelming in his first season in Italy and is expected to be on the chopping block for the upcoming window.

Monaco are believed to be interested in taking him to Ligue 1 in the coming months, but Silva could move to England to play in the Premier League because of interest from a newly promoted club.

Wolves reportedly made a daring bid for the striker in the winter window, which AC Milan rejected and according to Tuttosport, the club are ready to make a move again.

Wolves have big plans for the summer ahead of their return to the Premier League and Silva features prominently on their shortlist of transfer targets.

Jorge Mendes, who is also Silva’s agent, has played a key role in Wolves’ recruitment and eventual return to the Premier League and the club are keen to leverage their relationship with him to land another one of his clients.

However, the Portuguese super-agent also has an excellent working relationship with Monaco, where a number of his clients ply their trade.

Wolves are keen to make an impact in the top tier of English football next season and it seems they want to spend big to achieve their goals.
