Kyle Bartley is keen to return to Leeds United in the summer transfer window, but Swansea City's impending relegation from the Premier League could complicate matters.

The centre-back had a successful season on loan at Elland Road in the 2016/17 campaign and Leeds have opened talks with the Swans to sign him on a permanent basis this summer.

It has been claimed that Swansea are ready to listen to offers, but could rethink selling Bartley due to the fact he is a proven Championship performer and they are set to drop down to the second tier.

However, Leeds do appear to have zeroed in on a player keen on the move as, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the indications are Bartley wants to return to Elland Road.

He is going on two holidays over the summer with Leeds full-back Luke Ayling, who has vowed to do all he can to push his friend to return to Leeds.

Bartley has seen his season with Swansea interrupted by injury and in his absence the Welsh side look set for relegation.

They need to win and secure an unlikely ten-goal swing on the final day to overtake Southampton and climb out of trouble.
