Gary McAllister has indicated that a whole host of players have been put his way as potential Rangers signings, with the incoming Gers assistant manager believing the Scottish giants are an attractive prospect.

The former midfielder is currently serving in an ambassadorial role at Liverpool, but will become Steven Gerrard's number two at Rangers from 1st June.




Rangers have finished third in the Scottish Premiership and McAllister admits that a big job awaits him back in Scotland.

"I'm back into a real job now, it's 24/7", he told LFC TV.
 


"It's a big job, but very exciting as well", McAllister added.

And the Scot indicated that he has had potential signings pushed in his direction, while he is also sure there will be no difficulty in Rangers attracting players to Ibrox.

Asked whether he has had DVDs of players he has never heard of sent his way, McAllister replied: "You know what's been delivered to my phone!

"I think there's a few people who want to come to Ibrox."

Gerrard and McAllister have been given the task of putting Rangers back on top of the Scottish game and the pair have been tipped to receive a helping hand from Liverpool in the form of player loans.
