Barcelona are to assess the future of defender Yerry Mina over the coming weeks amid interest in the Colombian from Liverpool.

Mina has struggled to adapt to Spanish football since his arrival at Barcelona in the January transfer window and there are question marks over his future at the Camp Nou.




It has been claimed in some quarters that the 23-year-old is set to join Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool on a loan deal.

But according to Catalan daily Sport, Barcelona have yet to make a decision over Mina's future.
 


General manager Pep Segura is to make a call on Mina's future over the coming weeks after holding talks with coach Ernesto Valverde.

The defender was snapped up by Barcelona from Brazilian side Palmeiras for a fee of €11.8m, with a release clause of €100m slapped in his contract.

Mina's debut came in the Copa del Rey against Valencia, as he was brought off the bench with seven minutes left.
