Leeds United have received no contact from either Bournemouth or Everton over Tom Pearce, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, with the young left-back out of contract in the summer.

The Whites are working hard on a new deal to keep Pearce at Elland Road, but the clock is kicking as the 20-year-old's present deal expires at the end of June.

It is claimed though that Leeds have yet to meet Pearce's demands and the defender could move elsewhere with a tribunal setting the fee as he is under 23; Leeds would have to offer Pearce a contract matching his existing terms though.

Premier League pair Bournemouth and Everton have been linked with being keen on Pearce, but neither have yet to register their interest with Leeds.

Pearce broke into the Leeds team under head coach Paul Heckingbottom towards the end of the season and finished with five appearances under his belt, along with his first senior goal, which came in a win over Barnsley.

Leeds will be hoping that Pearce does not have his head turned by the chance to play in the Premier League and an agreement can be found for him to continue at Elland Road.

The defender spent time in the academy at Everton before being released by the Toffees at the age of 16.
