Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter is all geared up to play under Steven Gerrard, who is set to take charge of the Gers from 1st June.

Gerrard was appointed as the Rangers manager after Graeme Murty was sacked as Rangers boss following the team's 5-0 defeat at the hands of Celtic on 29th April.

Rossiter says that he got to learn many things from Gerrard during his time with Liverpool. The English international believes that life at Rangers under the former England captain will be no different as he will get to learn a lot more from Gerrard this time around.

The 21-year-old's career at Rangers has been plagued by recurring injury problems since moving to Ibrox in 2016 and he had not played since September last year.

The youngster made a comeback in Gers’ final game of the season against Hibernian and also scored once in the thrilling 5-5 draw on Sunday.
