Inter Milan have rejected an offer from West Ham to sign winger Yann Karamoh on loan in the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old joined Inter from SM Caen last summer on an initial loan deal with an obligatory purchase option, but his first season in Italy has been a struggle.

Karamoh has made just four Serie A appearances in the starting eleven this season and there are suggestions he could be allowed to leave in the upcoming widow.

It has been claimed that West Ham have shown an interested in signing the player and made a move to sign the winger from Inter on a loan deal, but it seems the move has failed.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Nerazzurri have rejected West Ham’s loan offer to sign Karamoh and have made it clear that is not an option they are considering.

There are suggestions that Inter could be prepared to sell the player in the summer if they receive a good offer, but a loan option has been ruled out for the moment.

It remains to be seen whether West Ham consider buying Karamoh outright, but they could face competition from Monaco, who have been keeping tabs on him since his days at Caen.
