Manchester United are on the verge of securing the signature of Brazilian full-back Alex Sandro from Juventus, it has been claimed.

Jose Mourinho has prioritised signing a new first team left-back after Luke Shaw failed to impress him and the club have been keeping tabs on a number of options.

Celtic’s Kieran Tierney and Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon are believed to be their other targets, but Mourinho has reportedly gone with the option of the more experienced Sandro.

Juventus are reportedly expecting to conclude a deal to sell the Brazilian to Manchester United at the end of their respective seasons and it has been claimed that an announcement could be imminent.

According to Italian daily La Stampa, Manchester United could announce a deal to sign the 27-year-old from Juventus following their FA Cup final against Chelsea this weekend.
