Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan could emerge as a possible target for Inter should they qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The race for the Champions League spots in Serie A is going to go down to the last weekend of the season, with Lazio and Inter vying for the fourth and the final spot in the table.




The two sides will square off against each other and while Lazio only need a point to get the job done, Inter need to beat the Roman club to make sure they are in the Champions League next season.

Inter have already made moves in the market despite not guaranteeing Champions League football, but their plans could change should they achieve their goal.
 


And according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the club could make an audacious move for Manchester City midfielder Gundogan should they play in Europe’s elite club competition next season.

However, they could find it hard to convince the German to leave a Manchester City side that won the Premier League at a canter and could launch a fresh assault to win the Champions League next season.
