Everton are amongst three Premier League clubs who are in the transfer mix for Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristante this summer.

The Italian has been impressive this season during his loan stint at Atalanta and the Serie A club have activated the option to buy him on a permanent deal from Benfica.




However, his future at the Serie A club has been hanging in the balance due to widespread speculation over clubs in Italy and abroad being interested in signing him.

Serie A giants such as Juventus, Napoli, Inter Milan, Lazio and Roma have all been keeping close tabs on Cristante and there has been considerable interest from the Premier League as well.
 


According to Italian daily Tuttosport, three top flight English clubs, including Everton, are considering approaching Atalanta to sign Cristante during the ongoing transfer window.

Everton have appointed former PSV Eindhoven technical director Marcel Brands as their director of football and Cristante’s name is expected to be under discussion at Goodison Park this summer.

Atalanta are aware of the level of interest in the midfielder and have set an asking price of €30m.

Cristante impressed in the Europa League this season, scoring twice against Everton in the group stage.
