Genoa general manager Giorgio Perinetti has revealed that a host of Serie A clubs are keen on Leeds United target Leo Stulac.

A 23-year-old midfielder, Stulac is currently on the books at Serie B side Venezia, but his contract with the club runs out in the summer, making him an attractive signing for interested parties.

Genoa have been pushing hard for Stulac, a player Perinetti took to Italy from his native Slovenia two seasons ago, but Leeds are also in the mix.

The scrap promises to be more intense however after the Genoa deal-maker admitted that the midfielder has more eyes than just his own club's on him from Serie A.

"There are very important Serie A clubs after him", Perinetti told Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

"He is a Venezia player, he is is doing very well.

"I was expecting his development and he can still do more.

"I saw him personally in Slovenia when I was at Venezia and we anticipated his progress, and the guy is doing well – we're following him."

Stulac meanwhile is remaining focused on the task at hand with Venezia, who are still in the hunt for promotion to Serie A through the Serie B playoffs.

And Venezia may feel they can keep hold of him if they win a spot in the top flight.
