Leeds United are aware of goalkeeper David Stockdale's availability, but have set their sights on another custodian in the shape of Manchester City's Angus Gunn, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Stockdale has been told he can leave Birmingham City during the summer transfer window and could present an attractive proposition for a number of Championship sides, not least the Whites.

Leeds started the season with Felix Wiedwald as their number 1, but no fewer than three goalkeepers were given an opportunity between the sticks, with youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell ending the campaign in possession of the number 1 shirt.

They have been tipped to move for another goalkeeper, but it does not look set to be Stockdale.

Instead they are eyeing Manchester City's Gunn and want to snap him up on a season-long loan deal, with the Citizens expected to again look to loan out the shot-stopper.
