Liverpool are waiting to get the Champions League final out of the way before making their move to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon.

The Reds were recently claimed to have agreed a €70m fee with the French side for Fekir, but Lyon quickly denied those suggestions, while Jurgen Klopp played down talk of a deal.

But it has been claimed Klopp has a verbal agreement with Fekir and Liverpool are now preparing to pull the trigger on a move to take him to Anfield.

First though, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Liverpool want to get the Champions League final out of the way.

Then after the meeting with Real Madrid, Liverpool will begin negotiations with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas as they bid to sign Fekir.
