Rangers are desperate to sign Leeds United target Oliver McBurnie from Swansea City.

McBurnie spent the second half of last season on loan at then Championship side Barnsley, being taken to Oakwell by current Leeds head coach Paul Heckingbottom.

The attacker got amongst the goals in Barnsley's doomed campaign and has been linked with a summer move to Leeds, with Heckingbottom still a big fan.

But Leeds have yet to make a move for McBurnie, something which could leave the door open for Rangers.

And according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Steven Gerrard's side are desperate to take McBurnie to Ibrox.
