Juventus’ possible move for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial depends on Mario Mandzukic’s future at the club this summer.

The Frenchman has emerged as a top summer target for Juventus and with Martial struggling to get into Jose Mourinho’s side, there are suggestions he could leave Manchester United in the ongoing window.

Martial was left out of France’s World Cup squad and he is believed to be seeking assurances about game time before agreeing to continue at Manchester United, where he has a year left on his contract.

Chelsea have been linked with having an interest in the forward, but Juventus have been the ones who are currently showing more willingness to take him to Italy.

However, a number of things have to fall in place before Martial could end up at Juventus before the end of the window and one of those situations concerns Mandzukic’s future.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus will only make a move for the Frenchman if they manage to sell Mandzukic in the summer.

The Croatian striker has his admirers in Europe, but Juventus have left the final decision on his future to coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Allegri could look to keep his experience in the squad, which could scupper Juventus’ plans to sign Martial.
