Jeremie Boga has told Chelsea that he does not want to go on loan again this summer and as such, if there is no room for him in the first team squad, he wants a permanent departure.

The French midfielder has just finished off his third consecutive loan away from Chelsea, having spent the season in the Championship with Birmingham City.

Boga, who previously had loan spells with Rennes and Granada, helped Birmingham to avoid relegation from the Championship and he feels that his personal objectives were also met.

"The goal has been achieved, we managed to save ourselves. We had ups and downs. I only remember the positives", he told French outlet Foot Mercato.

"I still managed to play 32, 34 games, so I am happy, because the first objective of my new loan was to clock up playing time in a rough and physical championship", Boga added.

The 21-year-old midfielder, who has been capped at international level by the Ivory Coast, is now facing a crucial point in his career, where he will either be handed a spot in the Chelsea squad or seek his fortune elsewhere.

"I have clear ideas about my future", Boga admitted.

"This is my third season on loan.

"I [now] have a lot of experience [after] the end of the season and I feel ready for next year to either fight to try to establish myself at Chelsea or to leave the club.

"I do not really want another loan."

Chelsea swooped to snap up Boga from French side ASPTT Marseille in 2008 and he made his Blues debut in the first game of the recently concluded Premier League campaign against Burnley.
