Norwich City have identified German striker Marvin Ducksch, who was linked with Leeds United earlier this year, as a key summer transfer target.

Ducksch has just closed the door on a sensational season at Holstein Kiel, narrowly missing promotion to the Bundesliga after losing a playoff clash against Wolfsburg.

The striker, who netted 18 goals in 33 Bundesliga games, attracting attention from Leeds, is now due to return to St. Pauli following the end of his loan at Holstein Kiel.

But Ducksch may not be at St. Pauli for long as, according to the Eastern Daily Press, Norwich have identified the striker as someone they was to take to Carrow Road this summer.

Canaries boss Daniel Farke wants to add Ducksch's firepower to his squad as he plots a promotion push from the Championship next season.

Ducksch is claimed not to be short of interest, meaning Norwich may face a battle in their bid to land the 25-year-old.

But Farke has a relationship with the striker, who worked under him during his time at Borussia Dortmund, which may give Norwich an advantage.
