Roma are set to provide a major push to their efforts to sign Ajax star Hakim Ziyech, who has also been on Liverpool and Everton’s radar.

The Morocco international is expected to be an in-demand player in the summer transfer window, with a number of clubs believed to be interested in snaring him away from Ajax.




There has been talk of interest from Borussia Dortmund and he remains a person of interest in the Premier League, with both Merseyside clubs, Everton and Liverpool, believed to be keen on him.

Roma have long been linked with a move for Ziyech and according to Sky Italia, the club are now prepared to push the boat out to land the Ajax star in the summer window.
 


The 25-year-old has been identified as a major target for the club and Roma sporting director Monchi has gone to work to pull off a difficult set of negotiations with Ajax.

Following playing in the Champions League semi-finals and returning to the competition next season, Roma are prepared to make a splash in the market to further improve and Ziyech is a key target for the club.

He made 39 appearances across all competitions for Ajax last season, scoring nine goals and providing an impressive 18 assists for his team-mates.

Ziyech has a contract until 2021 with Ajax.
