Carlo Ancelotti has given a green signal to Napoli to make a move for Liverpool linked winger Suso this summer.

Napoli sacked Maurizio Sarri and confirmed the appointment of Ancelotti as their new head coach on a three-year contract on Wednesday and the club are now prepared to launch their assault on the summer market.

Ancelotti has had extensive discussions with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis over the club’s transfer plans and Suso’s name is believed to have cropped up in their talks.

And according to Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the new Napoli coach has given his nod to the club’s pursuit of the AC Milan winger during the ongoing transfer window.

Suso has been coy over his long term future at AC Milan after the club missed out on Champions League football and has been on the radar of several sides, including Liverpool, who have been mooted to see him as a replacement for the departed Philippe Coutinho.
