Atalanta are considering making a move for Roma striker Gregoire Defrel, who has also been linked with a move to Watford.

Defrel has struggled to settle down and make an impact at Roma since joining the club from Sassuolo last summer on loan, but the Giallorossi have an obligation to buy him.

With his future at Roma under serious consideration, the Frenchman and his representatives are prepared to explore options to leave the Stadio Olimpico in the ongoing window.

Watford and Sevilla are reportedly interested in signing the striker this summer and it has been claimed there is fresh interest from Serie A clubs as well in his services.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Defrel has emerged as an option for Atalanta who are looking to add more depth to their squad ahead of another season in Europe.
