Aston Villa right-back Ahmed Elmohamady is looking to finish the campaign with the high of returning to the Premier League ahead of the playoff final at Wembley today.

Villa will square off against Fulham at Wembley to decide the third and the last team to earn promotion back to the Premier League for next season.

Steve Bruce’s side narrowly edged past Middlesbrough to earn a place in the playoff final against the Cottagers and Elmohamady is relishing the prospect of returning to the top tier of English football.

The defender joined Villa from Hull last summer and has been a key cog in the wheel for the club as Bruce managed to guide his side back to the brink of Premier League football.

And the Egyptian is determined to end his first season at Villa Park by taking the club back into the top tier.
