AC Milan are prepared to guarantee Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata a starting berth in their team next season to beat Juventus to his signature this summer.

The Spaniard is pushing to leave Chelsea this summer after just one season and Juventus are believed to be the favourites to land him if he is allowed to find the exit door at Stamford Bridge.

The striker and his agent was recently spotted with Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici in a Milanese hotel and the Italian champions are said to be working on an agreement that could see Morata return to Turin on an initial loan deal.

AC Milan are also interested in signing Morata, but UEFA’s impending sanctions and the player’s preference for Juventus have left the Rossoneri chasing the wind in the saga.

However, the Rossoneri have one trump card left to play and according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan are prepared to guarantee the striker a starting berth next season.
