Napoli have joined the race for Real Madrid and Liverpool linked goalkeeper Alisson after Carlo Ancelotti identified him as his priority target.

The Roma goalkeeper’s future has been under the scanner for months as his performances in Serie A and the Champions League have been noticed by the big wigs of European football.




He is said to be on the wish list of Paris Saint-Germain and European champions Real Madrid, while even Liverpool are interested in taking him to England to solve their goalkeeping woes.

However, Roma could now be forced into battle with Serie A rivals to keep hold of the Brazilian as according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli have joined the transfer chase for him.
 


New Napoli coach Ancelotti is playing a massive part in setting out the plans for the club this summer and signing a top class goalkeeper is one of his priorities.

And the three-time Champions League winning manager has identified the Roma goalkeeper as their priority target and has requested the club try and sign Alisson.

Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis is already working with the club bean counters to prepare a bid for the Brazilian goalkeeper this summer.

And with Napoli expected to earn big from several sales in the coming months, the club believe they could muster the funds required to snare Alisson away from rivals Roma.
