AC Milan have been knocked back on multiple occasions by Tottenham Hotspur in their efforts to sign Mousa Dembele.

The Rossoneri are desperate to land the Belgium international, who has just one year remaining on his contract with Tottenham and has held off signing an extension.

It has been suggested that Tottenham could cash in on Dembele if he does not pen a fresh deal, but according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, so far that is not the case.

AC Milan have made multiple approaches for Dembele, only to be knocked back on every occasion by Tottenham.

The Rossoneri are closing in on Milan Badelj, whose contract is expiring at Fiorentina, but want to sign a second midfielder.
