Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio is set to travel to England to open talks with Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of midfielder Mousa Dembele.

The 30-year-old Belgian has refused to sign a new contract with Tottenham and is believed to be keen on leaving the club during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The midfielder has attracted fervent interest from Italy, with Tottenham rejecting multiple offers from AC Milan for the signature of Dembele, while Inter and Napoli have also been monitoring the situation.

Dembele has emerged as a key target for Napoli, with Carlo Ancelotti pushing to land him, but Inter are prepared to make a concrete move for the player.

The Nerazzurri have been in touch with the representatives of the player to convince him to move to the San Siro and according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Inter are set to open talks with Tottenham as well.
