Bundesliga side Stuttgart are unlikely to sell Tottenham Hotspur linked centre-back Benjamin Pavard below a certain price this summer.

The young French defender signed a new contract with the Bundesliga club in December last year, but that has not stopped sides from trying to sign him in the ongoing window.

Pavard has been attracting major interest from some of the top clubs in Europe, with outfits such as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund keeping tabs on the Frenchman.

Tottenham, who are expected to lose Toby Alderweireld this summer, are also believed to be keeping tabs on the 22-year-old centre-back with a view to a possible move.

Stuttgart have been clear that they have no interest in selling the player this summer and have been desperately trying to hold on to the defender.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, a minimum offer of €50m will be required to even make Stuttgart consider changing their mind about letting Pavard go.

A big money offer could force the Bundesliga club into rethinking their stance on the centre-back, but for the moment they want to keep him at the Mercedes-Benz Arena next season.

Pavard’s current contract with Stuttgart has more than four years left to run.
