Manchester United Target Expecting Monaco To Accept Transfer This Summer

Manchester United and Atletico Madrid target Djibril Sidibe is expecting to leave Monaco during the ongoing summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old right-back has enjoyed another excellent season at Monaco and is now waiting to make a move away from the club in the coming weeks and months.

His performances at Monaco have been picked up by a number of clubs in Europe, with Manchester United and Atletico Madrid believed to his prime suitors this summer.

It has been claimed that two clubs have already initiated contact with the player’s representatives and are trying to work out a deal to snare him away from Monaco.

And according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the defender is not expecting Monaco to stand in his way if they receive a good offer on their table for him this summer.

The Ligue 1 giants have already sold Fabinho to Liverpool in the ongoing window and Sidibe is expecting a similar exit from the club in the coming weeks.

Monaco are believed to be eyeing a fee close to the figures they received for Benjamin Mendy from Manchester City last summer.

The Frenchman has a contract until 2022 with the Ligue 1 giants.
