Roma sporting director Monchi has been in touch with the representatives of Arsenal midfield target Jean Michael Seri, but he is not a priority for the Italian side at the moment.

Monchi was in Monaco on Wednesday to hold talks with super agent Mino Raiola for Ajax star Justin Kluivert and is believed to have agreed personal terms for the Dutch winger.




The Spaniard also conducted other transfer business on behalf of the Giallorossi and it has been claimed that he got in touch with the entourage of another long term Roma target.

According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the Roma deal-maker touched base with the representatives of Nice midfielder Seri, who has been angling to leave the Ligue 1 club since last summer.
 


Roma have been keeping tabs on the midfielder for a while and Monchi discussed a proposed deal for him with his entourage, but for the moment he is not a priority target for the Champions League semi-finalists.

Seri has a €30m buy-out clause in his contract with Nice and at the moment Roma are considering whether to invest their summer budget in the player this summer.

He also has his suitors in England, with clubs such as Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham believed to be keeping tabs on him.
