West Ham United are in talks to snap up Paris Saint-Germain attacking midfielder Javier Pastore, according to Sky Sports News HQ

The Hammers recently appointed Chilean tactician Manuel Pellegrini as their new manager and are looking to back him in the transfer market this summer.

Pastore has regularly been linked with a move to the Premier League, but has continued to remain at the French champions.

And West Ham are looking to make sure this is the summer he makes the move to the English top flight.

They are in talks to sign the Argentine and it has been claimed that PSG would let Pastore go in a €20m deal.

The French side are looking to stay on the right side of UEFA's financial fair play rules and offloading Pastore would help bring in extra funds.

Pastore made 37 appearances across all competitions for PSG in the recently concluded season, scoring five goals and providing six assists for his team-mates.

In total he has turned out over 250 times for the French club.
