Barcelona director Ariedo Braida has admitted that he is a big fan of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who could be on the move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The young midfielder has become a precious commodity this summer, being linked with multiple top clubs across Europe, including Italian outfit Napoli besides Arsenal and Liverpool.

And now the Barcelona director has come out to admit that he is a big fan of the player, though he insists that he hasn't been closely following all the rumours that have been circulating around the Frenchman this summer.

"A saga of the summer I have not followed lately, but I love Rabiot", Braida was quoted as saying by French outlet Foot Mercato.

"He has the profile of a player of the highest level."

Rabiot has a contract with the French giants that runs until June next year and is yet to sign a contract extension.

He clocked up regular football this season, featuing in a total of 33 league and eight Champions League matches, providing his team-mates with seven assists.

The young midfielder has been in the eye of storm of late after he refused to be named on the national team's standby list for the World Cup.

It remains to be seen if Braida's comments indicate a bid from Barcelona could be incoming.
