Inter believe the €10m offered to Tottenham Hotspur for midfielder Mousa Dembele represents a fair price.

The Italian giants recently sent officials to London for talks with Tottenham, who have been asking for €30m for the Belgium international.

Inter are not willing to pay €30m and have instead sent an offer of €10m to White Hart Lane in a bid to sign the midfielder.

The Nerazzurri have made the offer taking into account the fact that Dembele only has a year left on his contract with Tottenham and could leave the club for free next year, according to Italian outlet FcInterNews.it.

The Serie A side do not believe they will have any difficulty in agreeing personal terms with Dembele, who earns €4.5m per year at Tottenham.

Dembele has so far refused to extend his contract at Tottenham, placing the Premier League club in a tricky position when it comes to keeping hold of him.

Inter are now waiting to hear back from Tottenham on their proposal for Dembele, but given it is some distance off Spurs' asking price, could be left disappointed.
