Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has insisted that his club are not worried about speculation surrounding striker Mauro Icardi as the player is happy to be at the club.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Nerazzurri, with Premier League giants Chelsea being linked with a move.

It has been claimed in some quarters that the Pensioners are prepared to activate the star striker's mammoth €110m release clause to take him to Stamford Bridge.

The Italian club for their part though have time and again stressed their desire to keep the Argentine at the club with the vice-president also coming forward to state that Inter remain keen on keeping Icardi at the San Siro.

"When you have a champion like him in the team, it's only normal to receive many offers, but Mauro is the captain and a reference point for Inter", Zanetti told reporters.
