VfB Stuttgart sporting director Michael Reschke has admitted that defender Benjamin Pavard, linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, is in demand, but is calm about keeping hold of him.

Pavard had a superb season with Stuttgart in the recently concluded campaign and has been included in the France squad for the World Cup.

The 22-year-old's development has not gone unnoticed and Pavard recently admitted that he is keen to play Champions League football, something Spurs, Bayern Munich and Dortmund could offer him.

He also admitted he could not promise to still be at Stuttgart next season, but the club are desperate to hold on to the defender and Reschke insists that there is nothing on the table for Pavard.

"There is no request, no bargaining status and no new situation", he told the club's official site.

"The statements [from Pavard] are completely fine.

"In this spirit, we have always held our discussions.

"He played a top season for VfB and it is clear that he is now the focus of attention for top international clubs."

If Pavard catches the eye at the World Cup in Russia, Stuttgart could soon find substantial offers flying in for the young defender, who joined the club from French outfit Lille in 2016.
